I just installed 1.25.5(from plex.tv) on a new install of QNAP QTS 5.0.0.1932 and when I try to access it, I get you are not authorized. When I remove everything after index.html it lets me in, but the settings dont show my server or anything. No setup wizard runs or anything. I have tried using an icognito window as well but same issues. Please help.
Are you on the same subnet with it?
Are you using an RFC-1918 compliant network (10.x.x.x, 192.168.x.x, or 172.16.x.x-172.31.x.x) ?
Lastly, are you accessing it by FQDN ?
Same subnet and is 1918 compliant and accessed both via FQDN and IP same issues

Do not use a FQDN when attempting to setup the server. PMS will reject the attempt (treats it as if remote) without further consideration.

accessing http://ip.addr.of.qnap:32400/web is all you normally need. The NAS must be connected to the internet gateway with viable DNS to find plex.tv
It will probably help to pull the logs files maually.
This is the “PlexData” shared folder (an artificial construction) which allows access to the QPKG internals via File Station.
Please create the shared folder (exactly as shown), Restart Plex then shut it down, grab the logs ZIP manually from FileStation and add here.
Chuck,
I uninstalled it and deleted the PlexData folder, rebooted and reinstalled and accessed it by IP and it worked. Thanks for the help
