QNAP no longer supports KODI - but until now I'm too stupid to use PLEX - so pls help me

Actually I use KODI on my QNAP NAS - but unfortunatelly they drop supporting it.
Not to end up with an old system I try about using PLEX - I already installed the MediaServer on my MacBook and also on my NAS - and there it ends :frowning:

I dont like the pre installed skin - but theres NO WAY to change the skin - or co configure the look and feel
Theres Faqs on the PLEX webpage - but Im too stupid to find answers about how to configure the system to what I need.

I need PLEX basically for playback of my movies - theyre all in 1 folder and organized.
All I want is a system that gives me a nice library of my movies and can download additional info plus subtitels.
BUT everytime I sit down on my NAS or on my MAC for a “ok lets see how this could be done” session I end up frustrated as I find NO way for doing what I like doing.

So pls tell me someone WHERE I can find Faqs that desrcribe how to change skin, configure skin, configure additional things in PLEX.

Thank you.

Skins are the least of the worries of the developers. Plus you don’t say where you want to change any skin. Plex/web is just as is, there is “no way” to change the skin there (unless you use things like Stylish to change the css). OpenPHT does support some skins you can find on the forum and that’s about it.

But really the focus on Plex is delivering a program that works everywhere you are as long you have a connection and on multiple devices. To achieve a unity in the visual, there are stuff that are on the back pedal like skins. And to watch a movie, you don’t need a fancy skin…
