I currently run plex media server on a Qnap. I also use to watch on a Smart TV. When i select a movie, everything is fine until i select subtitles. After that the video is pixeled, and nothing can be distinguished. Looks like file is corrupt or something similar. I tried lowering the video quality but it didn’t help. It’s really weird that only when subtitles are enabled it happens. On PC and other devices, everything works fine. Just my TV is the problem.
The qnap is new, before this i used to run plex on a dedicated rented server hosted by some company. Plex worked perfectly on all devices. What could be the problem now?
