I am noticing similar issues with video quality after updating to Qnap version 4.4.1 and Plex Server to 1.15.4 . Before I did not have this problem. I have even tested older videos I previously did not have issues with.
I have not tested QTS 4.4.x.
It is still beta. Supporting any Beta OS is extremely difficult, if not impossible.
I’m sorry but there is nothing I can do until I’ve had time to test with it and resolve any issues which arise (apparently there are some).
Can you revert to QTS 4.3.6 ?
Thank you, I have logged a ticket with Qnap as well to confirm downgrading firmware procedure. I tried a minor version update this morning and saw the same problem afterwards still.
