Your issue is apparently one of server discovery on QTS where that thread is only pertaining to “how to do backups on Synology”
In QTS, can you see the server running?
Have you created the “PlexData” shared folder ?
You can always grab the logs.
PlexData anywhere you want.PS: You’re in the Synology forum not the QNAP forum. I’ll move us to a new thread when needed.
Apologies for not following up here. After a series of stop-restart (about 3-4) the service seemed to work again. Have no idea as to cause or what worked, but it worked and I’m not complaining.

Footnote: Had similar behavior in system today too; stop and start cycles were not netting a working result. Performed a full restart of the NAS and that resolved it.
