Are we no longer supporting an embedded build on a raspberry pi?
I just got my pi out to get set up again and this link appears to be dead.

Doing a quick search here, it looks like there isn’t a dedicated version for the Pi (or I can’t find one), it just runs on Raspian/Debian. So I think the standard Debian Linux server code should work on a Raspian install. There used to be a RasPlex build by someone else, but I keep seeing one site’s results that tells me that it’s not supporting the Pi 4.
If you are looking to build just a client (playback device) then LibreElec with the Plex addon is a good bet. I just built one for my brother. You can set Plex to load as soon as LibreElec loads. It can be controlled via CEC. It will play UHD H265 video. It can passthrough HD audio tracks. It can do frame rate switching. Only uses about 10~15 watts. Quite impressive for such a tiny little device and only around a $100 or so for an investment.
If you are looking to build an actual server, OMV Open Media Vault with a Plex plugin seems like a decent choice. I haven’t built one personally but have researched it and it seems like it might be a decent route.
Yeah I don’t currently need anything I just have an old pi kicking around and I figured I’d try it as a client again.
