Hi there, thank you for the lovely features you have introduced to us the past months. Discover is great, however I have a particular issue with some ratings. In October something happened and my user rated random duplicate ratings on nearly all of the titles I have on all of the libraries. Each title now has 6 duplicate rating entries. I would like to ask if there is any way I can reset my User’s ratings. Start fresh. I would remove them from my titles’ activities but they are in the thousands. Thank you.
Hi, only the user who has rated the titles can remove the activities. Unfortunately there is no quick way to do that at the moment, they would have to go into each title’s activity feed (just like in your screenshot) and remove them using the 3 dot menu in the top right of each entry.

But I think you misunderstood, those are my own ratings not somebody elses… must be a way of digging in the DB or something, dont you think?
Hmm that sounds odd. When you say your user, do you mean a user that you have control of? In the screenshot you posted there is no 3 dot menu, which is why I thought that the ratings belong to another user
The screenshot was taken by a friend of mine that was the one who noticed the issue of all the duplicated ratings from my user. But the user on the screenshot is me, I know I can remove each rating on the 3 dots but this issue made duplicate ratings (up to 6-8 sometimes) of thousands of movies/shows that I didnt manually rate. Removing them one by one would take a lifetime. Hence the question of the possibility of bulk remove ALL the ratings of my user, the admin of the server.

Could you confirm that your Plex username is the same as your forum username? (If not, you can privately message me the username)

Do you have the View State Sync enabled?

Do you use any third party tools to sync state (like Trakt)?

3- I had it and my guess is that it was the culprit but I have removed that tool already

You wouldn’t happen to be using Plex Meta Manager, would you? I have the same issue and it started aroung the time I was setting that up.
Yeah I use it but this issue happened waaay after I started to use it.
In any case I would love to start from scratch with my ratings. Any news on how to bulk remove them?
The engineers should be able to have a look at it this week but don’t want to make any promises

OH, yes the dupes are gone, which is great… Only issue I have now is all the movies in my collection around mid october last year were auto-rated, that is why I asked if it was possible to remove all the ratings of my user so I could start from scratch. But hey, it is just GREAT the dupes are gone!
