Plex is showing the same 5 movies even though new content is being added. The new content is being shown after the 5 older movies.

Please show a screenshot and explain a bit further ?
Problem was solved by moving files to different location, scanning library, empty trash, empty bundles, moving files back then scanning library.
I’d check the datetime
stamp of those movie files.
Chances are they lie in the future.
Thanks, been struggling with this the last couple days, this worked for me!
How does one do this? I just migrated my system to Ubuntu, and while I could have checked it in OSX, I’m at a loss here. But I have the same problem as the OP. I have a slew of files that keep showing up as newly added, even though they are some of the oldest in my library.
Cheers for the solution. I had 10 movies stuck in place holders 1-10 after I installed a new plex server and clicked on ‘Recently Added Movies’ as it was loading for the first time. Plex never sorted them into the correct place after that… until now! Thanks for the solution dude. Was worried that I’d have to resort to manual editing of the library xml like others had suggested in other posts.
