"Recently Added" shows movies added in the far future

Hi,

I recently switched to a new plex server all together and everything has been working fine except for a few movies that are constantly being shown as “just added” under Recently added movies section. If i hover over the movies, i can see for example that one of the files says it has been added in January 1, 2098. This is only for about 10-15 movies, but is there somewhere to fix this?

The files are being mounted via a NFS share from an UNRAID server. I’ve looked at the file properties on the NFS share manually and i can see no reference to January 1, 2098.

Perhaps this is a plex database issue?

The file date is only used when media are added during the course of a new library creation.
After that, the system’s date/clock is used. And it might be exactly this which has been set wrong when you added the affected movies.
In order to prevent this from happening again, make sure that the system time on your server is correct at all times. Verify that the ntp client is working properly.

Perform the Plex Dance with the affected items.

Thank you for this. The system time was correct, but after performing the Place Dance, everything seems to work again.
