recommended for 3 library’s showing Something went wrong An unexpected error occurred.
the library’s are fine just wont show on home page or recommended page
I have the same problem …
Is this identical in all different Plex client types, or does it only occur in certain client types?
I as well am having same issue out of the blue. 2 libraries wont show through plex app’s on home screen. Once you navigate to section (ie: “movies” then the recommended doesnt work, but the libraries part works), i am able to see all movies in my collection as far as i know. Havent checked to see if they all show up yet. When i try to load a selected movie, plex gives the “something went wrong” error. If i try to load the same file through another program, ie: windows player, it loads just fine, the same as a few other files.
I have tried restarting plex, shutting it down for a period of time and starting again. Also rescanning the folders, still to no avail. I am running Plex as a docker on Unraid. Everything has been updated. I even restarted my server. @OttoKerner , hopefully this helps, its my first time posted to a forum.
Please detail which types of Plex players you have tested. There are several which can be used on Windows and each one might behave differently.
all player types. on tv players and such it just says plex unavailable for recommeded for just those libraries and the library works fine. wehich is why I put

Could you check your Plex database for damage?
- activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
- quit Plex Server
- wait 1 minute
- start Plex Server
- wait 5 minutes
- fetch log files and attach them here
Or inspect them yourself. Take a look at the Plex Media Server.log file and seek for messages about database corrupt or malformed.

Can you try to disable KMSpico on this computer, then reboot and try again?
why would my windows ver have anything to do with plex, but ok disabled and same issue with the 3
also i search for malformed and corrupt and found nothing

I don’t know why it appears in there.
But the first logical step in debugging it is to take it out of the equation and then look if something changed.
Other than the above I cannot find any signs of database damage in the logs.
Can you confirm that:
- none of these libraries has its “visibility” disabled in the properties of the library, on the “Advanced” tab
- the checkboxes for the Homepage are not empty under Settings - Server - Manage - Libraries
- you are using the hosted web app https://app.plex.tv
Do you have a tuner device for Live TV set up in Plex?

Try disabling everything under “Library recommended”, except “Recently Added”.
Is the issue still present or is it gone?
If it is gone, try re-enabling the checkboxes one-by-one until it breaks down again.
Did you activate the checkbox at the bottom “Merge…”?
ok that worked it broke on the 2nd one recently added tv
just did same with other 2 and same issue its the recently added causing the issue
