Recommended view always comes up even when previously changed to Library view

A managed user’s selection for viewing Recommended / Library / Collections is not retained. When the user switches to another library and then returns, the view always reverts to Recommended. And that’s not the desired default. This does not happen when I’m logged in as the Plex Pass user even though I’m using the same Samsung app. I think this is only happening for one user. Is there a setting in the user profile that controls this? I don’t see anything.

In Settings > Experience, there should be a setting labeled “Remember selected tab,” or something similar.
