I’m having this same problem, any fixes yet? It seems like some of my shows will display the description/thumbnail on the day they’re recorded, but then a small subset of those will lose those and go “generic” the next day.

I believe the issue is the guide EPG description isn’t carrying over once it’s recorded or is lost upon a library scan.
