I have tired to record all “NFL Football” games , and always miss the late games (either late afternoon, or Sunday Night Football). Since my Cowboys were nice enough to ruin Thanksgiving, I was able to play a bit with the DVR settings without missing their game. This has been a long standing issue, and I have tried all the suggestions I have read (ie Set up for “Any Resolution” and “New and Repeat Airings”). I also checked the .Grab folder and nothing was there, so there wasn’t a hung “100% Recorded” holding up my tuner (I have 4 total tuners). I did the following to try to get Sunday Night football to show up.
Delete the recording and set it up again the same way – Didn’t work
Recycle the services – Didn’t work
Delete the recording and set it up again the same way (After Recycling) – Didn’t work
Reboot the machine – Didn’t work
Delete the recording and set it up again the same way (After Rebooting) – Didn’t work
Create a specific recording for that team - Did work (but not what I want)
Delete the recordings from earlier in the day, and set up the “NFL Football” all games recording schedule - Did work.
So it seems like the “New and Repeat Airings” isn’t working for NFL football, or there is some other issue mucking this up.
FYI… Other shows aren’t recording, but typically my wife finds the issue, says screw it and watches it on Hulu. Then will complain about it a few days later without any details.
I am on Version 1.9.7.4460, on a Windows 10 dedicated and well provisioned HTPC.
