Is there something preventing recordings from starting while a guide refresh is in progress?

The above show did not start at 16:04:00, it started promptly at 16:00:00. So why the heck is plex deciding to start four minutes late and give me an incomplete recording?
Furthermore, there is another episode due to air at 18:00:00 that is NOT in my library…and plex has not scheduled it to record…and what the *@#(, there’s another episode I do not have airing at 17:00:00 that is not scheduled to record!!!
No failures in the log. No errors displayed on the web. The two missing eps don’t even show in the logs even though they’re listed in the guide data.
WTF, I have come to expect that I cannot trust the guide data, but I have almost lost all faith in plex if it cannot even handle recording episodes that it does know about.
