I'm quite new user of Plex in general and PlexConnect in particular (and also not English language native speaker, so my apologies in advance)
My problem is I think simple, but a bit long to explain :
I have installed Plex Media Server 0.9.8.4 on Mac OS 10.8.4 and configured both Movies and TV-Shows Libraries
Both are working fine with known movies or TV shows (such as Downton Abbey, Two and a Half men, etc....)
My problem appear when I try to add a "custom" show in my TV Shows library.
This show is a recording of NCIS : Los Angeles done from a DVB-T recorder in .ts format and converted in .mp4
When I add the show on PMS, I have no problem (I can identify the show, I have the synopsis, the images, the rating, etc....)
And there is no problem when I read it on the Mac through PMS.
I can also see the show with PlexConnect on the ATV3 ("All Shows -> NCIS Los Angeles"), and then see the season ("NCIS : Los Angeles -> Season 2012"), but then when I select the season, instead of having the list of episodes I always have the screen "Trailers not available. Try again later"
All other shows (not coming from recording) are working great
Does anyone have a clue on that ?

Sorry, not shure what I should read out of the attached XML file...
Please set loglevel to High... somwhere in settings.cfg.
Restart PlexConnect, dive into your library with the "defective" season (to the point of "trailers not available") and attach the generated PlexConnect.log.
Looking at the episode.xml you posted I see 2 problems that could be related to the series on loading on the atv.
1. Season 2012 - that just makes no sense there are not two thousand and twelve season in that tv show. 2. The file name “NCIS Los Angeles - 2012-07-13.mp4” that contains no information to identify the episode, episodes should really be named with a season and episode number eg:-
NCIS Los Angeles s01e01.mp4 or NCIS Los Angeles 1x01.mp4
Fix your naming structure and rescan the files into the library and see if it works.
I’ve just added the show to my library using your naming scheme and contrary to what your original post says, it does not add correctly and both the season and episode metadata are missing, this is your problem. Rename the season directory and file to the correct naming convention and try again
The logfile only shows the overview of your SHOW library, not the process of selecting NCIS - which was the step that failed on aTV...

I've modify the names of my files, this is it !
when modifying with the season and episode numbers, it works.
Nevertheless I do not understand why having a different naming causes such a problem to PlexConnect.
The files were correctly read on PMS (even if indeed, there were no synopsys by episode, only the synopsys of the Show)
This seems to be a limitation for me and the use I want to do with PlexConnect
My idea was to have a HDD with shows and DVB-T recording on it and be able to read them through the aTV and PlexConnect.
In this scheme, I would like not to modify anything on the DVB-T recorded files (except may be transcode them to mp4) because I do not care about synopsis or metadata in that case. (they can be whatever show or movie or documentary that is aired on TV)
=> the idea would be to use the aTV as the "play" part of a videorecorder
Baa : I know you are strongly involved in PlexConnect development, do you think this feature could be added ? (being able to read a file that do not have a Season/Episode marking ?)
