Is it just my PC or are other people getting incorrect or incomplete scheduled show listings? I first noticed that all my early AM shows today were skipped. When I checked it out, it indicated that I had 10+ active recordings (when 3 is max). Then after a reboot the list changed to only 4 shows scheduled for the entire day, which is VERY incorrect. So I added a few that were about to start and they failed to be included in the list as well. When I cross checked the 1 show apparently being recorded to the tuner status, the tuner says I am currently recording from 2 channels… I do not know if this is affecting the actual recording, but the schedule page is quite broken.
I am running the latest Plex version on a Windows 7 PC.
Update:
I looked at the agenda view and have no idea what the hell happened.
Looking at 1 day previous, it indicates that it is from the 23rd. Yesterday was the 28th… Where did the history go? Otherwise today’s schedule matches what is listed on the calendar view. I just added another show from the “Starting Soon” listing and the artwork overlay indicated that it was marked for recording but doesn’t show up in either schedule and the tuner is not active when it should be currently recording.
Update:
It seems that Plex DVR may not be distinguishing HD correctly. I generally use the “HD only” option when scheduling my recordings. On a show that should be currently recording I changed it from HD only and it started recording and showed up on the schedule. However soon after stopped with the error “There was a transcoder error”. Maybe because it wasn’t HD? Maybe it is subject to the same transcoding error other people are having?? The only fact I have is that it’s broken.
