Lately, some of my recordings are being flagged but there are no details as to why that’s happening or what exactly that flag means. Some of those recordings seem to happen but I’m not sure if all of them happen. When I click on the recording the yellow warning flag has no details (hovering over also reveals nothing). Anyone else running into this?
I had the same problem and learned that due to FCC reassignment of frequencies, PBS was required to change their channel setup. Refer to this PBS posting for further info. I’m in Southern California where broadcasts are provided by PBS SoCal; I don’t know how geographically widespread the frequency changes were. With Plex, I rescanned the channels and resolved my problem; maybe it’ll work for you.
That didn’t last long. The issue is back. The re-scanning and restarting the server temporarily clears the flags but it seems on subsequent database updates the flagged shows re-appear. My antenna picks up two different PBS stations and the flags seem to appear on just one of the stations (I’ll have to track it to confirm this). The problem is it’s not consistent because the same show in the same time slot on a different day is not flagged.
There’s clearly some issue in how Plex identifies channels. It also fails to properly filter HD channels in the Guide listing even though when it scans the channel it shows HD.
