Since I’ve updated PMS to 1.9.0.4252-d07c1f408, some recordings are shown as Unavailable
I notice the new update has changed the naming structure of the files that it records, but there seems to be stale records to the old file structure for playback? It’s expecting the .ts file to exist in the ‘Season 2017’ folder. Also it isn’t referencing the right filename, it looks for “…Episode 09-17.ts” but the file name ends with “…Episode 09-17-2017-09-17 1009.ts” I’ve tried cancelling all the series recording and recreated them after this update, no luck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!
Sorry, ‘user error’ on my part… didn’t realize MCEbuddy was still running and having it’s way with my file name structure
and PMS wasn’t set to update my library on changes.
If you are running mcebuddy with the option of monitoring folders you might consider not using the file renaming option, at least it sounds like you are using that option since you mention mcebuddy is changing the file name structure. If you take out the custom renaming mcebuddy should just remove commercials and convert the video to whatever format you have choosen and change the extension of the new file before placing it in the same folder as the original. Of course you do want Plex setup to update the library when changes are made.
