Refresh Downloads toggle is being ignored

Hi

Since updating to Plexamp 4.11.1 on iOS, I’ve noticed that Downloads are refreshing shortly after loading Plexamp, despite me always having “Refresh Downloads” disabled.

Has anybody else noticed this since the latest version?

In PlexAmp for iOS, go into SETTINGS > DEBUGGING > SHARE LOGS. Save ZIP. Upload ZIP file into this thread.

  • Don’t show tracks from downloaded albums which aren’t available.
  • Make sure to complete incomplete playlists when startup refresh is enabled.
  • Improve accounting for offline items and ensure it matches reality.
  • Refreshing offline items could lead to missing content.
  • Don’t allow editing offline album posters.
  • Improve offline memory usage during refresh.

to be clear, on startup, it checks for missing or incomplete downloads, which is not the same as a refresh.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding that I’m seeing then… it’s just that I’ve never seen this happen before. Basically the little orange counter on the Downloads tab selector suddenly appears and counts down in the same way as when you actually download something. Viewing the downloads page itself shows the identical interface as when downloading.

These downloads are not incomplete or missing, and this has never happened before until 4.11.1

Hmm, you’d need to post Plexamp logs for us to see what’s going on. I suspect it’s trying to download missing loudness data or metadata or something like that.

Looks like you’re missing loudness data, which it’s trying to fetch. You should really enable that on your server.
