For quite a while now, PMS would crash on me at least once every 24 hours, and stopping/starting PMS in QNAP App Center only got it working for a few moments. I would have to completely restart the QNAP, and usually that would keep it going for me for a while.
I have discovered why. Any time PMS tries to “Refresh Guide” for Live TV it barely makes any headway before it crashes and PMS becomes unresponsive. Previously I had over 250 channels in my EPG, and after seeing a couple of similar posts citing large guides as a (potential) issue, I cut my guide down to 121 channels. IT STILL CRASHES. What is even happening here?! I’m completely unable to watch Live TV on Plex now, and sometimes from watching Plex entirely since its not always convenient/easy to get into QTS to stop/start PMS then catch PMS and stop it from refreshing the guide in time.
HELP!
