I am experiencing the same issue on my system with a similar setup, iMac on macOS 10.13.6 utilizing HDHR4-2US on the same firmware version running Plex 1.13.8.5395. The issue started a little over a week ago. You can’t do anything with DVR or Live TV, including delete it.

Only way out is to delete all plex software folders and uninstall. Its a pain becuase your have to rebuild your database, I had a bunch of collections I built and Im getting tired of rebuilding my database this is my 3rd time

Best regards,

I’ve been having this same issue for probably 2 or so months now. Has anyone else experienced this issue and resolved it without resorting to the nuclear option?

Unfortunately I couldn’t find any alternative either. I tried deleting just pieces from Cache and other settings, but overall I ended up having to completely remove Plex and start clean. I did have a backup of Plex, and going back to the older version prior to experiencing the issue seemed to work, but presented with other slowness remotely so a clean install was really my only viable option.

I’m having the same issue. Any comment from Plex as to what the cause is?

Having the same issue as well. Hoping we can get a response from PLEX soon on this. Wanting to avoid having to do a clean sweep…

I may have managed to resolve this issue by deleting the 3 “tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect” files located in PMS/Plug-in Support/Databases on my server and then rebooting.

It took forever to rebuild the Guide database after reboot, but it managed to make it all the way to 100% and it has been good for a few hours now.

We’ll see if this is permanent.

Deleting the epg databases did it for me as well. Couldn’t someone from Plex have mentioned that over the past few weeks?

How often do you reboot your HD HomeRun unit? You can send a reboot command using the command line.

Here is a reference on that:
