I had some moves in my library which were stored as M4V files with embedded metadata (title, content rating) and Plex took this data instead of grabbing it from the internet.
I now have replaced those files with an remuxed version so all embedded metadata is gone. I refreshed the library and I got the movie title from the internet.
However the metadata for content rating does not get updated. It’s still eg. “ab 18 Jahren” instead of “de/18”. I already emptied all fields except title and removed the orange lock and did a refresh of that media item and all fields gets filled again but content rating is still “ab 18 Jahren”. Then I did the same again but then stopped PMS, deleted the Plug-ins Cache, started PMS and did a refresh and again the same happened.
I have absolutely no clue were Plex gets that “ab 18 Jahren” from but it is a problem because Plex doesn’t know how to display the correct content rating because it awaits something like “de/18” (or PG-13 if it were a English/USA library).
