o.k now it’s working but i came back to my original issue.
when i play hdr movies it automatically transcoding, the resolution of the movie goes down and the color re washed out.
when i choose an option of " play original quality" it start to play fine.
and on this setting it’s not transcoding.
but when you close the movie and open again is goes back to the lower quality.
the reason specified for transcoding is:
resolution or bitrate acceded maximum allowed.
on server the quality setting is " maximum"[quote=“clear1, post:23, topic:749608, full:true”]

maybe i need to install some plugins?
the same is when i play the movie wit the server on my 4k pc screen.
so i don’t think its an network issue, my network is relatively fast.
when i play the movie with an vlc player on my pc it works fine.
no transcoding.
can be settings reason?
if you tried to reinstall your server to fix 4k problems, then you caused yourself a whole lot of unnecessary trouble.
please read the whole thread @ Plex, 4k, transcoding, and you
that should get you started on understanding what is involved in using 4k media with plex.
How does one access a plex media server when it is a docker container running on unraid. I’ve read a few article stating that i should be opening plex via XXX XXX XXX:32400, but how does one do this on unraid?
first, i dont think it has to do with reinstalling, since the isuue was before that.
second, i succeed to fix it on the client ( my sony tv) by changing the remote streaming quality to maximum.
still when i play the movies on the server its low quality and transcoding.
i’ll try to check settings
