The system version number of synology is: DSM 7.2-64570 Update 1
The Plex Media Server downloaded from Plex website is: PlexMediaServer-1.32.6.7371-b6a09ad81-x86_64_DSM7.spk
I uninstalled and reinstalled it in the same way as
FAQ 9: Uninstalling PMS - Completely start over
The problems are the same
- After Plex Media Server installation, it will create PlexMediaServer file in the shared folder.
- synology DSM does not have any PlexMediaServer related content in the Control Panel under User Accounts and User Groups.
- The local port of PlexMediaServer is empty in the Control Panel of synology DSM.
Repeat the installation many times and still have this problem.
