Hey everyone,
I’m at my wit’s end with this issue.
I’m using youtube-dlp to download some YouTube channels with the following argument:
--output "/downloads/%(uploader)s [youtube-%(channel_id)s]/%(playlist_title|Playlists)s [youtube-%(playlist_id|)s]/%(uploader)s - %(title)s [%(id)s].%(ext)s"
This means my folder structure includes the channel ID and, if it’s a playlist, also the playlist ID.
The Issue
The problem is that Plex is inconsistent in recognizing YouTube channels. Some channels work fine, while others don’t get recognized at all.
What I’ve Tried So Far
I’ve attempted everything I can think of, including:
- The Plex Dance (removing & re-adding media)
- Deleting the Metadata folder for TV Shows
- Recreating the entire library
- Forcing metadata scans
- Repairing the Plex database
- Removing plugin/packages
- Updating ASS and the YouTube Agent to the latest versions
Still No Luck
Despite all of this, the issue persists. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
