Hey guys,
I'd like to introduce you to Pandas, the full Anime Metadata system for Plex. I've been working on this for a while and think is it almost ready for wide spread release. It comes with a customized Scanner and Agent to help collect as much supporting formation as it can for your Anime collections. It is heavily reliant on AniDB for most of the resources, but also collects supporting information from Anime News Network and TVDB to fill in the gaps in AniDB's database. Though this is listed as release 1.0, it is still in testing, so use at your own risk. It is possible to use both independent of each other, though undesirable results may occur.
This system supports Normal Episodes, Special Episodes, Opening and Ending Credits, Trailers and Paraodys. Please ensure they line up correctly with the correct numbering on AniDB's website for proper naming. The naming guide is in the README included in the download.
Currently the system only collects the Official Japanese title and Japanese episode names. I hope to by the end of the week have multilanugage support.
Right now updates will be common. Due to the nature of the APIs in use, older version of this system may stop working. I will keep the README updated on the system's site of which versions are currently active. I will also try to maintain a list here.
