Remote access behaving unusually

There are a few strange things that seem to be going on with access to my server.

Both when I am on my home network or outside Plex can say that it can’t find my server. Then if I click through a few options like Live TV, Movies, Music or TV shows it then magically appears.

It may work nicely for 24hrs and then it suddenly goes missing until I do the same dance again.

Also the Plex app on a Fire Stick seems to work very well but the app on my Sony TV always says the server is unavailble despite reinstalling it.
