Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171
I recently moved my server from one network/machine to another using the official plex guide. On the old setup everything was working fine for 3+ years. Both machines run Ubuntu 18.04.3 and are kept updated (OS, Plex, etc…).
After moving the server everything worked fine. A few days later I noticed issues locally, and tracked it down to IPv6 so I disabled that, and everything went back to working fine locally.
Since then, several out of network clients haven’t been able to connect, namely a Samsung Tizen TV and a Roku TV. The error on both of them is about not being able to create a secure connection.
Several other out of network clients aren’t able to establish a direct connection, but are using the relay. Other out of network clients seem to be able to establish a direct connection (e.g. I turn wifi off on my phone, and use the Plex app or the direct address (.hash.plex.direct…)).
I’ve also noticed that Remote Access seems to jump between connected and not. When I first start the server it says I am connected, then after a few minutes changes to not connected. When it is not connected it is:
Private :32400 <- Public : X Internet
If I click the retry button by the manual port entry, it typically goes back to being connected. If I wait a few minutes, it goes back to not being connected.
canyouseeme says that the port is open on my public IP. I have a Verizon FiOS ONT ethernet connection to a Google Wifi, which is connected to a switch which is connected to the machine with the server.
