Remote Access Cuts in and Out - Windows 11 Server 1.41.2.9200

Server Version#: 1.41.2.9200
Player Version#: ALL
Since updating on Novmeber 13, 2024 to the new server I am having a real problem with remote access. It will work then it will cut out and then work and then cut out. It doesn’t matter if I am using android (S24), Apple 15, Samsung TV or Tablet.

I am running a modem as a bridge and a D-Link AX 1800 as the primary router / wireless. Port is 32400 like normal. Up to the 13th everything worked fine. I have limited upload speeds, port forwarded and nothing works. Even internal network players sometimes fail (like my samsung tv connecting the the server). Any help would be appreciated

Let’s start with some basics…
Is your router’s WAN IP and the specified public port accessible from outside your home network? If so, do the router’s public IP and that recognized from outside match?

You should be able to verify this using a service like canyouseeme.org

Thank you very much . I read that instruction pag(s) and followed them. Only after did I write. I tried the link and it tells me " Error: I could not see your service on 89.78.23.XXX on port 80". I have used smartdns for years and never had a problem. Just now the plex server says remote access is available again. Plex shows Private 192.168.1.231 : 32400 Public 89.78.23.XXX : 29940 (where XXX is hidden here). Again, this is how it has been for years with no problem.

The inconsistency jumping into my eye is the public port.

You’ve mentioned, the router’s port forward is using port 32400, while your second post states Plex is actually presenting itself on port 29940.
On the other hand, you seem to have tested only port 80 on canyouseeme.org.

Thank you once again. I will admit that I am not that familiar with the technical side. I tried now both 29940 and 32400 (I manually changed the public port on plex to 32400). It says Error: I could not see your service on 89.78.23.XXX on port (32400 )

It seems like I can not be seen anymore even though it shows in Plex:

Fully accessible outside your network

You can access this server from signed-in Plex apps or in a browser at https://app.plex.tv/desktop.Disable Remote Access

You currently have Remote Access enabled through a manually-specified port. If you wish to disable Remote Access, you will need to remove your manual port forwarding from your router.

Private 192.168.1.XXX : 32400 Public 89.78.23.XXX : 32400 Internet

I have never had this issue before and not sure why it has begun - whether it is plex or my service. I will try anything. All help is appreciated.
