Hey guys i recently setup a ubuntu server with docker and NGINX reverse proxy. the the last two weeks or so remote access has been flickering in and out on my tautulli. When i go to plex.tv and check on the remote access sometimes its green sometimes its red. but a quick refresh takes care of that.
My current setup is ATT Fiber > BG210 > R7000 router > ubuntu server > docker > plex container.
Currently running the plex container is bridge mode and i’m manually setting the remote access to port 32400. I have the router port forwarding 32400 to the host ubuntu server IP address and hell even though the Fiber modem is in passthrough i’ve set THAT to port forward to the passthrough MAC ID.
on my old FreeNAS setup never had this issues.
looking through my plex verbose logs every once whenever tautulli signals its down i get one of these logs
May 12, 2019 12:12:13.345 [0x7f70d1f6a700] DEBUG - EventSource: Got event [data] ‘’
which is signaling that the service not hittable outside i think? i can send a log of it going up and down like 5 times in a 10 minute period…
using yougetsignal.org on my ip address and port yields mixed results where sometimes its open other times its not open
Any suggestions?
