Had no problem with remote access and recently moved. Remote access worked for one day, perfect, until recently. Now I can’t get it to stay green. Have rebooted the server, the docker container, and the router/switch multiple times with no luck. I have also logged in and out and forgotten the server many times as well.Uploaded the server logs. I stopped docker image, deleted the Preferences.xml, and restarted the image as I saw this worked in another post, Plex Media Server.log (3.0 MB)
Yup, have port forward to 32400. I’ve tried to connect with it on and off, and am getting indirect connections (occasionally). Other times it doesn’t work at all.
Sure! I have a dual ethernet card in my NAS on two different networks. I have two sets of port forwarding rules that address all the ports for these internal IPs. I had some remote users do troubleshooting for me last night. They are able to connect to the Plex through a device such as their iPad, but they cannot connect to it through their TV.
not sure why anyone would run a dual NIC setup like this but everyone always has their reason.
I would suggest you get rid of one NIC and see if it stabilizes.
Yup, I have it on the 192.168.3.74 card. I’ll try, though it was working just fine until a recent update to the server (beta channel). I believe it was the first .18 release.
