Remote access green then red, Should i be concerned?

Server Version#:1.19.4.2935
Player Version#:1.13.0.1275-bbd8d37b
im running a plex server on my qnap TS-453A(version 4.4.2.1310)
my router is a Fritz!Box 7490(firmware 07.12) with port 32400 forwarded to plex

so my problem is when i go into remote access section on my plex settings i have it set to manually select port as upnp causes other issues, initially it says that it’s accessible outside my network green then after a few seconds it goes red and says not available .

everything still seems to be working and it’s still accessible outside my network even though it’s red should i be concerned? Do I need to fix it?

ive tried everything I can think of but can’t get it to stay green.

There seems to be a bug with the indicator. As long as remote access is actually working, there is no need to worry.

Some ways to test if Remote Access is working:

canyouseeme.org
From a system on the same network as your server, go to the site and enter your remote access port in place of the default, port 80.

MX Toolbox SuperTool
Choose the TCP Lookup tool. Enter the public IP address of your server and remote access port number (ex: 1.2.3.4:32400)

Uptime Robot
Checks reachability on a timed basis and sends an e-mail if contact is lost. Free account supports up to 50 monitors.

thanks for the links that helps, looks like i just don’t need to worry as it’s reachable remotely and the tools indicate that everything is forwarded correctly

thanks again
