I claimed my server using the plex.tv/claim option. Now it says it is not reachable from the outside.(I can add Shows etc.) I then set it to manually use port 32400. This port has a NAT to the plexserver on my firewall. When i click try again it tries, suceeds and then , about five seconds later its turning red again saying it has no connection. I tested if the server is reachable with my cellphone but it ist connected. Thanks for your help.
That’s just the “optimistic” approach of Plex… it’ll display a green status indicator while verifying if your remote access setup is working.
Getting a green status that’s switching back to red after a few seconds means your setup isn’t working.
Can you verify the port forward is actually working/accessible from outside your home network? (e.g. using a service like canyouseeme.org)
