There’s no single on/off switch for remote access.
Even with you not touching anything, there could be changes to your setup (e.g. changes to the host config or by some OS security feature, changes by your ISP switching to a CGNAT or blocking ports…).

Your ISP will usually not tell you if they make changes to their backbone.
Basic troubleshooting (as per the linked guide):
- if you’re currently using UPnP (automatic remote access configuration in your router): establish a manual port forward instead and make sure your PMS’s host has an IP reservation inside your home network.
- test if the published port is visible from outside your home network – you can do that using a service like canyouseeme.org; while doing that, also double-check if your public IP recognized from outside your home network, the router’s WAN IP and the public IP recognized by Plex’s remote access settings match
It is the app that’s not working. I am able to access Plex online remotely and in my web browser remotely on my phone but not in the app
I confirm the problem is the mobile app, if I use the old app on Android/iOS everything works correctly if I update the app there is nothing left.
for now I solved it using the old version
