My server has a private (and static) ip address. I’ve deleted my Port Forward rule, and reinstated it, then tested successfully on Open Port Check Tool – Verify Port Forwarding on Your Router

The windows Plex app on another PC on the same network can connect with no issue, but the Plex web can’t

I’ve already checked the Local Network Access on Edge on the server. The android Plex app on 2 different devices on the same network gives the connection issue, whilst the windows app doesn’t?

Check out the second link. It lists a whole lot more to verify. Sounds like a DNS issue.

I have Bitdefender total security installed on the server. I’ve tried disabling the firewall temporarily, but that didn’t help the issue. I’m able to access the content on a different pc using http://server.local.ip.address:32400/web

Point 2: Client says it won't play from "remote server", although the server is local

I’ve set the external port number to a different one from 32400, and updated the Plex settings to use the same number. Again, it temporarily shows green but then no external access. Canyouseeme is able to connect to that port number with no issue. I had already set Plex to be IPv4 only

[image] I’ve setup DNS on the server with Google Public DNS for both IPv4 (see picture) and IPv6 , but still have the same issue with no connectivity. Canyouseeme is still able to connect to the port with no issue.
