Remote Access is not connecting issue

I am new to Plex and have recently signed up. I’m having trouble with the remote access portion. I have loaded in some libraries and have a subscription but I’m getting stuck when trying access remotely.

I have checked troubleshooting articles and gone through some of their recommendations but nothing seems to be working, am I missing something?

I don’t have a VPN that could be messing with it. I have checked that my router supports uPnP. I’ve tried doing port forwarding (I hope I’m doing it correctly) by following some Youtube demonstrations. I do have consistent internet access. I’ve checked my firewalls to make sure that’s not limiting it. Could someone help me with this please?

I suggest you take a look at this troubleshooting guide. Start by verifying your manual port forward is visible from outside your home network (e.g. using a service like canyouseeme.org). It’s also worth comparing the public IP of your setup as it’s recognized by canyouseeme.org, in the Plex remote access settings and your router’s WAN IP.
