I have pless pass.
My plex Server is running on Synology DS918+
Hello,
the remote access is very unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
I mostly have issues with FireTV, but also other devices, like Plex Web, and mobile Android Devices. It simply does not work:
- Files can not be played
- Sometimes you can’t even access the library („Server is offline“).
I opened all the ports, I even tried having the NAS as a „Exposed Host“
It also says in the setting that the server is remotely available (everything green)
I also tried manually setting the port and open up that port.
Anyone else has similar problems? What can you do to make it run better?
My internet connection is 100% stable and working (other apps are working).
I have 1Gbps download speed and 50Mbps upload speed.
Anything else I can do to fix this? I need a very reliable remote connection otherwise Plex is useless.
