Remote Access keeps dropping out

Hi,

My remote access keeps dropping out, this started over a week ago - around the time I updated plex. I have my plex on a qnap server and haven’t had this issue before. I have turned on “Manually specify public port” to 32400, but this hasn’t helped. I can’t use plex any where but home and I can no longer share with family members (the whole reason I purchased a plex pass).

Any help would be appreciated. I’m not very technical so have struggled to understand some of the discussions that have occured around this topic.

When you selected the checkbox, did you go into your router and create the forwarding rule? You would need to create a rule to forward external requests to port 32400 and send them to your QNAP ip and internal port 32400.

Who is your ISP? Just a single router/gateway?
