Plex apps work just fine on my home TVs but won’t stream more than 1 minute on my phone. Doesn’t matter if I’m connected to home WiFi or not. Windows 10. Not a major tech savvy person. So hopefully someone has figured it out and can easily walk through. Please. Everything at home is WiFi.
Also, Starlink uses CG-NAT IP addressing, which is incompatible with Plex Remote Access.
You can connect via Plex Relay, which tunnels the connection through a Plex server. However, that is limited to 1 Mbps, so the resolution will be around 320p.
There are ways to make Plex work on a CG-NAT network by using a VPN or other means. T-Mobile and Verizon’s Home Internet over 5G also uses CG-NAT, so something that works for those carriers should also work for Starlink.
Hopefully someone has a good place they can point you for such workarounds.
