I haven’t done anything. It was working earlier today. Has always worked in the past. What gives? Tips anyone?
I notice there is an old version of Plex Media Server machine windows PC linked to your account
Suggest you download the current version from https://plex.tv/downloads and enable Remote Access - if problem persists, get server logs and screenshots of the remote access server setting page

I went to an older version after seeing others say that’s what they did. I was actually on the most updated version. I’m going to go ahead and update back to the most current and see if anything changes. If not, I’ll get the server logs and screenshots as you suggested. Thanks
Same result. Attached is a zip of the log and screenshots. I’ve updated; restarted; I just can’t figure it out. I’ve been using Plex for years, and never ran into this issue. So simple that my wife is able to use it on her phone without difficulty. I gotta get this thing up and running. I don’t even listen to the radio because of Plex. All help is appreciated.

Thank you. You provided screenshots for enabling Remote Access and going red after that. No times showing on the screenshot. Furthermore I cannot find anywhere in the log any entries corresponding to the actions for the screenshots
Please always provide corresponding set of evidence and give times of any screenshots so that they can be related to log entries. The log covered 15:25:24 to 16:28:58.
That aside, the logs show uPnP port mapping errors.

Suggest you switch to a manually specified port and corresponding port forward - but before that I am interested in finding out what the error: Invalid Args, error is when mapping. Would you be able to download wireshark from Wireshark · Download and install it and repeat the attempt to get the port mapped as in above logs but this time with wireshark packet capture running and then get the logs and save the wireshark capture to pcap file and zip and send me by private message together with the corresponding logs zip. Also make and model of the router and firmware version
Switching to a Port Forward
Port forward is known to be more reliable than uPnP port mapping
So please ensure the IP Address of the server is fixed - 192.168.1.3 to be set as a DHCP Reservation in the router
Then setup a port forward in the router.
eg Port Forward wan port 32400 to local port 32400 to 192.168.1.3
and then on Remote Access Server Settings, click show advanced, and tick manually specify port and enter the public port (32400 in the example I gave)
May need reboot of router
Holy smokes sa2000…After everything you just mentioned, I began with your last sentence of advice. REBOOT THE ROUTER (and modem just in case and while the net was offline anyways)!!! Fully accessible outside your network now… WTF… You telling me that I just had to reboot my router? Definitely appreciate you helping me out. You did actually solve this case. Thanks
