I’m having an odd issue when trying to enable remote access.
I am using a BGW210 router and my ISP is AT&T.
I have checked all my settings to make sure I can allow for remote access, but it doesn’t seem to be working properly. When I first set it up, it worked fine for a couple of days, but then just suddenly stopped working. When I try to manually specify a port to use(32400), it will flash for maybe 5 seconds that it’s fully accessible, and then goes back to red saying it’s not available outside of my network. If I don’t manually specify a port, it remains showing it’s fully accessible, but when testing if it is available, it is not.
I don’t think it’s an issue with how I set it up because it did work for a couple of days before it just stopped working. My PC that I’m using is fairly old and is still running Windows 7. I’ve had this computer for quite some time and I feel like there may be remnants of past Anti-Virus installs that could be causing these glitches. It also may be something where my ISP saw that I had a public domain and they shut it down. I’m not sure what my next steps should be; get a new server or possibly try to set up a VPN.
Thanks for any help you can provide, Plex community!
