Was using 1944 flawlessly no issues, decided to upgrade to 1.18.2.2029, now remote play crashes Plex, uninstalled and re installed same issue, I rolled back to 1944, no issues…

Do you have log output from your Plex Media Server which you could provide?
It will aid either myself or a Team Member in supporting you with this. There’s likely something causing this crash on your system if things were previously working for you.

Same I installed both 2023 and 2029 today and have had this same issue since. I tried rolling back to the previous version and the issue did NOT clear up! I’m wondering if this isn’t a Plex issue overall?
I’m sure you have seen there are several threads going now regarding this issue. This is not an isolated incident at all.
nice timing on this thread cause remote access on 1.18.1.1973 just started working again and i wanted to know before i install 1.18.2.2029 if there were any know issues with it connecting properly. seem for at least a few days to a few weeks after a new version comes out(at least the last 2)they have issues connecting remotely.
It was previously working but now I got the same issue I rebooted my modem my PMS and PC
Same issue here for me, been trouble shooting this for the last 24 hours to no avail
Remote Access was working before and now it has stopped working. I’m running PMS 1.18.2.2029. I have added port-forwarding that was suggested in another thread but the problem persists. I have also run a repair on the PMS software installation. I have a Linksys Velop mesh router that my PMS connects to via WIFI. The ISP modem is physically wired to Linksys router.

Looks like 2041 rolled out, Im gonna try out that one see if it works
Nope doesnt work still crashes on remote play going back to 1944
