Which Plex server version remote acesses working perfectly?

Can some one please confirmed Which Plex server version actually working 100% for remote accesses. Most new Plex server versions are so buggy and annoying. Also please provide download link. Please help me out guys.

I’ve got two MacMini servers in the same location, behind the same router running PMS 1.13.9.5439 with no problems. But I’ve only had Remote Access problems this last week when reports were that it was a Plex.tv problem. Otherwise it’s always worked for me. I don’t know what voodoo I’ve done but it just works for me.

Latest working great here.

Version 1.13.9.5439 working fine here which I think is the latest
Even sync’d an entire season without issue remotely… stars aligned!

Not wanting to beat on a guy who’s having issues, but the current version works fine for me.
I run a Mac Mini with PMS 1.13.9.5439 no issues with remote access. Short of what CWallace stated about plex.tv problems last week.

Verify your port forwarding setup if not using Universal Plug and Pray.

latest one its the most worse and buggy one

Could you provide download link bro. Currently i am using it 1.13.4.5251 this plex server version

I am also having issues with plex server crashing a lot on the latest version.

Switch to beta channel… I’m using a docker so not sure that helps you.

There are at least 40+ threads from the last 3 days with remote access issues.
There has been a plex.tv outage that doesn’t affect everyone. Buried deep inside one or perhaps two of those threads is official confirmation of this and maybe buried deep inside those same threads maybe there is confirmation of the issue being fixed…or maybe it’s not fixed.

1.9.1.4272 works great no issues with crashing

A problem with some backend systems (pubsub servers) for plex.tv was identified and fixed on October 14th. These servers are used for the connectivity tests for remote access.

If any one still has problems, please restart the server and if problems remain, please get me fresh server logs - captured few minutes after loading the server settings page for remote access in a browser and press F5 to refresh the page

(Of course ensuring that debug logging was not disabled before restarting the server )

Thanks

Well that’s interesting as most of those posts started after the 14th. Even others ninjas are saying they have only started getting reports of the issue and that’s also after the 14th.
Here’s one example.

Still I guess its easier to “not” make an official thread here on the forums for such issues and then users can keep on rebooting their whole Plex eco-system, rolling back server versions, re checking their port forwarding and in some cases resetting their routers all for something they could never fix in the first place.

we can talk about issues for a long time and tons of posts but will get no where without diagnostics and logs.

i will keep an open mind. The consequence of the issue that was fixed on the 14th may have needed remote access to be disabled and re-enabled to fix and a possible restart of the server.

What we need now is logs of any remaining issue and not just posts to say there is a problem

Sadly Plex yet again totally miss the point. So to quote myself and try to be clearer.

Where was the communication that stopped people taking the above steps.
