Hi I have two versions numbers so I don’t know what is right. I can only log into Plex using the following address rather than Plex.tv
http://192.XXX.X.X:32400/web/index.html#
When logged in the the Plex web version is 4.20.2 and under settings general it is Version 1.18.6.2350
My issue is since we upgraded our broadband to fibre Plex has been temperamental. I think the issue is that the fibre comes into the cops into a Huawii box which then has an ethernet connection to the Sky hub/router. The WD NAS I run Plex on is connected to the Sky hub but since that is connected to the Huawii is this what a NAT/Double NAT is? I’m not a network wiz so trying to learn as I go.
I can see that Plex is accessible remotely and when I try it on my iPhone, iPad etc. it works. But I have profiles for a few friends and they say on the Plex app on their TVs and AppleTV that it doesn’t work and says the NAS is unreachable. Which is similar to when I log in at Plex.tv
I would love some help on this cause I can’t figure it out or understand what I read online. I thought I could plug the NAS directly into the Huawii box where the fibre comes into the house but non of the ethernet ports on that box seems to send internet to the NAS and other devices I plugged in. I also tried to remote into the Huawii but cannot like I do the Sky router.
