Tried openDNS today as well and it didn’t seem to help. @sa2000 Any ideas?
Me also tried changing dns in router and NAS. Still loosing connection.
But a new thing today. My Network - DDNS of which i have one myqnapcloud.com and one noip.com keep dropping and then picking up.
The myqnapcloud seems fairly constant but Noip.com has been off for most of today.
Well I have NFI what has changed but no dropouts or messages from Tautulli saying same for 48 hours.
Over a 10-14 day period I changed, updated firmware , upgraded software versions, cables, rebooted, NAS, replaced Routers, moved Adapters, dozens of NAS settings, multiple router settings and now it’s working…
I actually don’t believe it yet. Will update in a week…
Now back to dropping remote connection every 1, 2 or 3 hours. No pattern and come back in anything from 1 to 10 minutes.
I did a physical reset of my NAS’ network settings (paperclip in the reset button for 3 seconds) After it came back it’s been stable for two days now.
That’s one thing i haven’t tried.
Thanks for the suggestion…
ok done the network reset…
5 minutes later still getting red connections that need the ‘apply’ to go green…
