Random access works initially but randomly stops working. I restart random access via server settings and it works fine until it stops randomly again. Is there any way to keep random access on all the time and prevent random access shutdown/automatically restart random access if it goes down?
I have never received or seen a meaningful answer to this question. The random âRemote Accessâ disconnects still happen strangely in seeming clusters (e.g. lots last night and continuing today but was stable for weeks before this). Manually specifying a port has NEVER worked but if you do that, then toggle back to random it quite often works ⊠but of course now you get a new random port specified in your port forwarding section of your router config. I just did this myself 2 minutes ago because my server randomly became unavailable again 3 minutes ago âŠ
This isnât something that only you guys are experiencing. This is now a well known problem with the last few PMS updates⊠we are all waiting for the Plex team to actually get remote access working properly. See just some of the other threads that all describe the same underlying issue recently:
