My windows 10 pc closes/reboots when a friend connects to my server usually within 10 minutes.
What client is your friend using?
What version is PMS?
They don’t know and I can’t go look as on lockdown. Easier to stop them using my server until after lockdown rather than my pc shutting down each time. Thanks for responding

What client are they using? Web browser, Samsung TV, LG TV, Roku, etc.
Is the video transcoding while they are playing the video? Check via Plex Dashboard during playback.
If the video is transcoding, and you have hardware acceleration enabled, it could be a driver conflict. Update to the latest driver release and to a recent PMS release.

Update: issue seems to be my end. The windows crash happens when video playback is played via the desktop app since the last update. Plays ok through the plex web browser. All is up to date as checked all of this
