So, from time to time I have to either restart Plex or deactivate and reactivate Remote Access in order for it to work.
However, after a few minutes, Remote Access appears as not accessible outside my network but I can access it with no problem. I tested this on my phone using mobile connection with no trouble and I can access my media.
Is there a way to fix this?

Is remote access really not available or is it just the indicator showing remote access not connected…
As I have pointed out in a number of threads that it seems that the indicator will show remote access as not available but in fact it is. The remote access indicator polls Plex every so often and if there is a lag in response it shows it not enabled when it really is.
I just ignore that indicator on my PMS servers…
It’s accessible from outside the network so it’s just the indicator.
I looked in other threads but as the issue was not described the same as my situation, I was confused.
Is there a way to fix that behavior? As I really don’t know how to check if Remote Access is or not available and I need to try other things in order to confirm this.

I use my cell phone and turn off WiFi on it.
