Server Version#: 1.18.3.2156
Welp, it’s every Plex user’s right of passage: Fiddling around with Remote Access after it just randomly breaks. Remote Access was working fine just this morning, now it’s returning “Not available outside your network”. If anyone has some further insight I would greatly appreciate the help, as I’ve exhausted everything I can think to fix it.
Here’s what I’ve done:
-Followed Everything in the Remote Access support page https://support.plex.tv/articles/200931138-troubleshooting-remote-access/
-Automatic configuration doesn’t work. The server has a static IP address, and port forwarding set up on the router. Nothing.
-Doesn’t look like I have a double NAT problem, my IP address from something like whatsmyip.com returns the same as the IP on the remote access page. The router it’s on is a router/modem combo, but I can’t turn on any bridge mode without disabling the router. Additionally, it was working just fine until this morning.
- Added an additional network route in Unraid. I saw somewhere that someone was able to add an additional eth0 route to the network routing table on their linux server. Tried that and didn’t work.
- Completely uninstalled/wiped the server and reinstalled it. Didn’t work.
Currently when I attempt to retry the connection, it will return a Connected status for a few seconds, and then stop working.
I’m kinda lost at this point, any additional help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
