A first i got very “Unstable” direct connection. The remote access was wokring on/off.
I followed this guide:
Now i cant connect at all from outside.
Tryed
Updateing my Unify USG
Updating my Unify 24p switch
Restart docker
Portforward checker: Port_32400 is open on XXXX.
Talked with my ISP and i got a static IP som no NAT.
What good ideas do you guys have?
Hmm and now i get the Green V in plex but i cant access it?
Hmm okay after i closed my outher plex server down i get this:
Port_32400 is closed on XXXX
Please read through Remote Access and Troubleshooting Remote Access support pages.
Then step through this guide: The Basics of Remote Access Troubleshooting
If you have been unable to get remote access working after you have completed all of the above (please be thorough and don’t skip any steps, or think you’ve already done all of this so you don’t need to bother), come back and we’ll get some details from you and proceed from there.
The remote access going green initially is a red herring. It will always go green after you make a change, while Plex is actually checking the access. Once the check is complete it correctly changes to red. It is not actually briefly working and then stopping.
I have tryed all that.
So what info can i provide?
You mentioned some Ubiquiti equipment. Do you also have an ISP modem or router? Do you have your bridging set up so that you’re not dealing with an internal double NAT situation?
Nope
Fiber converter (bridge) → USG → Unifi switch → Dell server with Unraid.
All this worked with my windows server.
I made another topic why it didnt work.
Why is this required for remote access? - Plex Media Server / Remote Access - Plex Forum
Sorry, I’m a little confused now. Your other post seems to indicate that you figured out what you needed to do to get it working?
Yea i got it working
Sorry about the confusinon.
But now i just cant understand why it is needed to make a static route.
